CASUALS: Casuals band-Accent - vid 3

CASUALS: Casuals band-Accent - vid 3 Tube. Duration : 5.77 Mins.

The Real Story of the Legendary Terrace Fashion........ Chelsea had just been promoted from the old 2nd division in '84 and they were having a party at the ground before the last home game to celebrate, so we chanced it — 'there's no harm in popping in to see Ken Bates' (chairman at the time). The following Saturday we're setting our equipment up on the pitch in front of the then main (east ) stand, ground starts to fill up, about 15 --20000 in at this point (about 2pm). We run through 5 songs to a good response , polite round of applause and no abuse! Pat Nevin the only indie footballer of the day wrote about us, some major labels invited us in for demos, our hype was better than the sound of the band, we released a indie single and faded away, that was that. At least we can always say we started at stadiums and worked our way down. www.youtube.com VID 1 www.youtube.com VID 2 A new feature documentary on football casuals subculture.Get the DVD and check out more at our full website: www.casuals.tv And become our friend on our Facebook group link for Urban Edge Films www.facebook.com

Casuals - Portobello Film Festival 2012

Casuals - Portobello Film Festival 2012 Video Clips. Duration : 8.85 Mins.

Cass Pennant's film production of Casuals was showcased at this year's Portobello Film Festival, possibly Europe's largest independent film festival. It is 17 days of non-stop cutting edge cinema from the modern masters of the medium -- these guys have gone out and made their films, often on budgets of next to nothing, for the sheer thrill of it. And keeping to its indie roots, all events are FREE. At the heart of Portobello Film Festival are shorts and features that embody the state of cinematic art on digital formats, from international upcoming directors. Evenings are programmed into drama, documentary, comedy, animation, music, art, sci-fi & horror and World. They'll be non-stop screenings at The Pop-Up Cinema and Westbourne Studios, where there will also be a Video Cafe for films to be brought along on the night. Add in a Filmmakers Convention and loads of fringe events and you can see why this is truly the biggest celebration of independent films in Europe.
